It began in 2015 with a community-wide Book Club started by Longview, Texas Mayor Andy Mack. Yes, Mayor Mack’s Book Club was a way that this East Texas town’s chief executive officer felt he could share the value of reading with his constituents as well as help them acquire a mindset that said, “The more you give, the more you have.”
It seems like just yesterday but it’s actually been 10 years. In fact, exactly 10 years ago today Bob Burg and John David Mann’s book, “The Go-Giver: A Little Story About a Powerful Business Idea” was published by their amazing publisher, Portfolio (Penguin-Random House, but only “Penguin” back then).
Nearly a decade after its first publication, “The Go-Giver” by Bob Burg and John David Mann has been honored with the Living Now Book Award — Evergreen Medal for Personal Growth for its “contributions to positive global change”!
