We asked Don Gandy and Randy Stelter, at Valpraiso, Indiana’s Wheeler High School, for a few pictures. Don just sent us some great shots, so we can see who these amazing Indiana go-givers are.

Randy gave a Rolodex to every student who received a perfect score on their Go-Giver quiz (to help them keep track of their growing networks of Personal Walking Ambassadors, of course) (click photo to enlarge)
Randy (L) and Don (R) and Indy Roper, who was one of the first seniors to really connect with The Go-Giver
Randy (L) and Don (R) and Wheeler High All-Conference Quarterback Mike DeSimone, the first to finish the book.
Thanks, Don!
Meanwhile, Don and Randy have arranged to have Bob come out at the end of April to speak to all the Wheeler High senior students and their parents. Don adds:
We are already looking forward to starting The Go-Giver book with our seniors in the fall next year. We hope that its principles will be practiced throughout the 2009–2010 school year with our kids.
I plan to start a Principal’s Leadership Academy next year with a selection of 20 senior students and teach them through various workshops and mentoring opportunities how to put into practice the Five Laws of Stratospheric Success. I am in the initial stages of development for this program. Randy Stelter is running an Ambassadors program in which various students go and present to the elementary students on character issues. I very much believe that we are on the right track with assisting our students to become great citizens and leaders of the future.
We believe so, too. Wouldn’t you love to have your kids going to a school with people like this?
