Kim has been in sales and entrepreneurship for 30 years and – as creator of the programs, Grow with Gratitude™ and Grumpy to Grateful — is passionate about your business being in alignment with gratitude.
She began her career with Campbell Soup Sales, Sprint Wireless, and Cisco Systems, where she was a 65-million-dollar producer. Immediately after the “dot com bust” and just 11 days after 9/11, she began her own insurance agency in a guest room closet.
Then, after 15 years of owning, growing, and merging insurance agencies, she sold her practice for a 600% profit and took the leap into inspiring grateful living around the world. She now helps business owners create more profit and have more fun creating their business by design.
When not coaching or consulting with business owners or speaking on the stages of the world, you will find Kim traveling with her husband, daughter, and English labs, Katie and Henry.
Kathy Tagenel is a business strategist and President of Living Vibrantly LLC. She facilitates workshops and retreats for business owners who want to grow their business by creating an exceptional culture. The principles and framework of The Five Laws of Stratospheric Success from “The Go-Giver” by Bob Burg and John David Mann are foundational to her work with clients.
Kathy has partnered with Bob Burg since 2008 and has been the driving force in building The Go-Giver® brand and growing The Go-Giver Movement. She is a Certified Go-Giver Speaker & Coach.
Kathy’s background is in marketing, information technology, and entrepreneurship; her passion is working with entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs to help them understand and appreciate their unique gifts so they can realize their full creative potential. As a Kolbe Certified™ Consultant she helps individuals discover and leverage their instinctive strengths for greater productivity and personal fulfillment.
Kathy received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and her MBA from the University of Chicago. She started her first business in 1999 and has been been a serial entrepreneur since then. Prior to that she worked for large corporations such as IBM, Ameritech, and Verio for twelve years.
Kathy is an adventurer who loves to travel and boldly go where she’s never gone before!
Ana has a lifelong commitment to empowering people through education. She is trained in clinical psychology and education, has taught at the graduate level, and served as clinical director of a county-wide Alzheimer’s family support services program, and cofounded New England’s first college of Chinese medicine. As a business coach and educator, she has worked in both the profit and nonprofit sectors. She currently sits on the board of directors of the Red Circle Foundation, which provides emergency gap funding and child enrichment program support for families of Special Operations veterans. Ana’s counsel was instrumental in making The Go-Giver the powerful story that it is, and she has a mission to take the Teacher’s Guide to the Go-Giver to thousands of classrooms around the country.
Randy is an English teacher and the athletic director at Wheeler High School in Valparaiso, Indiana. Coauthor with John and Bob of A Teacher’s Guide to The Go-Giver, Randy has been teaching The Go-Giver to his students since 2009. A teacher since 1979, Randy was nominated by former students and selected to “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers” seven times, and selected for the Charles F. Mass District I Indiana Athletic Administrator’s Distinguished Service Award in 2008 by the Indiana High School Athletic Association and his peers. Randy has coached football, basketball and softball for over twenty-five years, coaching or administrating programs that have earned six State Championships as well as being named conference “Coach of the Year.” He served on the Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Tribune’s All-State Committee for numerous years.
Margret McBride’s agency established their reputation as masters of the business parable more than thirty years ago with their ground-breaking bestseller The One Minute Manager, by Ken Blanchard and Spencer Johnson, M.D. Their bestselling parables have also included Fish!, by John Christensen, Steve Lundin, and Harry Paul, and Raving Fans, by Ken Blanchard and Sheldon Bowles. (And of course, the Go-Giver books!) Margret’s team are more than agents; they are genuine go-givers themselves, and all-in collaborators at every stage of the process.
Portfolio was established in 2001 by publisher and fearless leader Adrian Zackheim as the first dedicated business book imprint within Penguin Group, now Penguin Random House. In addition to Bob and John, some of Portfolio’s notable authors have included Sir Richard Branson, Seth Godin, Guy Kawasaki, Capt. L. David Marquet, and Simon Sinek.
