I continue to be filled with gratitude by two things (much for which to be grateful, of course; two things specifically here): First, the incredible outpouring of support and encouragement by our friends and associates who turned our initial promotional campaign into the success it became. Few things happen in a vacuum, and fewer realllly good things happen without a lot of great friends and encouragers right beside you. Secondly, the way everything came together so beautifully exactly when it needed to.
Thank you for being a part of The Go-Giver Team and Community. I hope this blog becomes a form of exchange for all of us; each adding value in the way that fits our unique, individual styles, and each of us being able to receive value . . . just as Joe was able to do at the end of the story.
An attitude of gratitude is a great way to follow the law of receptivity. My,wife gave me the book and said that I wrote it.In truth, you guys did and it is terrific. We have already given it to our family and business partners.Truly the gift that keeps on giving.Somehow, the ending made me cry.Loved it,thanks for the inspiration.
EDMP
Wow – EDMP; thank you very much for your kind words. Sounds to me as though you certainly could have written the book yourself. Thank you for being part of The Go-Giver Family.
Bob
Bob,
Delia and I say thank you for your. We had tears when we both read it.
I would like to share how I ran into The Go-Giver book. Delia and I were on our way for a cruise with our company YTB(Your Travel Biz) http://www.umbrelladrinkvacations.biz . So, we had to fly from San Diego to Orlando. In one of the stops, I was attracted to this bright red book from a far. So, I bought it.
On our cruise, one of the leaders of the company, Arlene Thompson, came up to me. She asked, “What are you reading?” and my reply was “I am reading about you”. I will give a copy in San Diego.
A week later, Delia and I went to Arlene’ meeting and gave her the BOOK.
Now here comes the best part, 2 months ago, our business partner, Dave Brandt, wanted to send Delia a book that his friend(Bob Burg)had just wrote.
Two days ago, Delia recieved the The Go-Giver book signed by Bob Burg. We had no idea that it was this book that Bob Burg was sending to us.
Delia and I looked each other in SHOCK. I told Delia, these LAWS are for REAL and never read the book until yesterday.
We true believers of these LAWS we no longer ask for Go-getters in our organization. We want GO-GIVERS.
Thank you so much for the GIFT.
Just back in town and catching up on emails and blog posts. 🙂
As you can imagine, I LOVE to read stories like this (in fact, had to read yours a couple of times). 🙂 Thank you for taking the time to write and share. Yes, Dave Brandt is a terrific guy and a true Go-Giver, as are obviously you and Delia (and Arlene). Again . . . thank you very much!!
Regards to Delia, as well.
